about 'One Eye'

As you all know, most chacacters of mine has just one eye on her face.

In my point of view, the only eye of her is for concentration of her emotion.

I needed a very strong image to present her anger against a school and thought the one eye is easier way to focus on her feeling, show audiences and grab them than two eyes.

Also the single eye usually means 'the week', 'a mutant' and 'a monority' all over the world. A one-eyed person used to represent a person under pressure and suffered by society. For example, there is "BANJJOKI", which is a traditional Korean juvenile story.

At this point, I would like to ask you about another characters, who has a single eye only, no matter of in novel, graphic novel(comic/manwha/manga) or cinema(film). Please let me know their name, the title of media where they are in, their personality and your own opinion about meaning of single eye.

제 포스팅을 보신 분들은 모두 눈치채셨겠지만 제 작품 속의 인물들은 대부분 단 하나의 눈만을 가지고 있습니다.

이 하나의 눈은 인물의 모든 감정을 하나로 집중시키기 위해 설정되었습니다. 학교를 향한 '화(분노)'를 온전히 보여주기 위해서는 그만큼 강한 이미지가 필요했고 두개의 눈보다는 하나의 눈이 관객의 시선을 더 강하게 잡아끌 수 있다고 생각했기 때문입니다.

제 개인적인 설정의 이유뿐만 아니라, 보통 외눈박이는 인간 대접을 받지 못하는 '약자'와 '돌연변이', '소수자'를 뜻하는 경우가 많습니다. 예를 들어, 우리는 '반쪽이'라는 전래동화를 가지고 있지요.

이제, 여러분께 여쭤보고 싶습니다.

"혹시 그 밖의 외눈 캐릭터를 알고 계십니까?"

소설, 만화. 영화 등의 장르를 불문하고 그들이 존재하는 작품명과 캐릭터 이름, 성격 등과 여러분이 생각하는 외눈 캐릭터의 의미에 대해 알고 싶습니다.
